Over 40 years ago Cambrian Trading House was created as a Canadian-Peruvian joint venture flower farming operation in the Huascaran Valley in the Cordillera Blanca, four hours north of Lima, Peru.

The initial product line included Gypsophila and statice but we soon partnered with additional farms growing carnations, roses, lilies and gerbera. Over the next decades, Cambrian built its network of partners and contracted fields in Ecuador and Columbia and expanded its trading operations to the U.S., Australia, New Zealand and numerous other countries around the globe. During this period, our distribution network grew to span the North American continent as well as central Europe.

From the outset, we have focussed on improving the quality, technology, environmental and safety standards within the operations with whom we established partnerships. This approach has resulted in providing our customers with a reliable, sustainable and socially responsible product range of the highest and freshest quality at reasonable prices.
